Design Guidelines

The general design objectives for all projects at Macquarie University that includes refurbishments, new builds and remedial works should consider the following as overarching guidelines:

• Our University: A Framing of futures (sets out the purpose, vision, values and strategic priorities for the University)
• Macquarie University Campus Master Plan
• Sustaining Our Future.

Further to the above guidelines, the following should also be considered in the general design objectives for all projects at Macquarie University:

• Alignment with the Macquarie University Capital Management Plan for the current year
• Address any statutory code and compliance issues such as Australian Building Codes Board requirements and Australian Standards.
